My Clothes Clearly Travel in Economy

 I don’t know what happens inside a suitcase. I pack calmly. I zip with confidence. I arrive… and my shirt looks like it panic-sweated the entire flight.

At this point I’m convinced my clothes are fighting in there.

For years I handled it the mature way. I ignored it. If I don’t acknowledge the wrinkle, maybe it doesn’t exist. This strategy works for many things in life. Fabric is not one of them.

Hotel irons are a gamble. Sometimes they exist. Sometimes they’re “available at reception.” Sometimes they look like they’ve melted something important.

So I started looking at a travel garment steamer. Not because I’m fancy. Because I’m tired.
